He has a degree in History from the University of Valladolid. For 20 years he was councilor of the City of Valladolid by the PSOE. In the last 14 years he has been Coordinator of the Municipal Policy and Institutional Policy Areas in the Federal Executive Commission of the PSOE and parliamentary adviser of the GPS in the Congress of Deputies.
